Life on The Farm

We don't exactly live on a "farm" yet. (Unless it's The Funny Farm.) But give us a few years out here and you never know what we'll have in a pen! We are off to a good start though with two dogs and two cats.

Here is Rylin's first trophy pose with a rabbit. I guess Lee was bored one afternoon. After 10 shots fired, the rabbit was dead. Two of the ten actually hit the rabbit. We ate the rabbit for supper that night. It was good.

These are our two kittens. Dorothy is Addisen's cat and has white paws. St. Thomas belongs to Rylin. The kids sure have a lot of fun with these cats. Surprisingly they get along with the dogs!

Lee found a rabbit's nest near the wood pile this evening. He caught one of the little ones and brought it in to show the kids. When the kids saw it they wanted to keep it. Of course we said "NO!" Rylin informed Lee that Darcy (our Rat Terrier) had killed a baby rabbit this afternoon. Probably this ones sibling. I was secretly wanting to ask the bunny ... who's your daddy? Because I think we have a photo of Rylin holding him upside down! ; )
