The Big Top ... without the top.

The Shrine Circus traveled through the area not too long ago. The show here in town got rained out ... and no refunds for tickets were to be made. However, the tickets were good for any town listed on the ticket. The closest was Salem ... almost an hour away. My mom had gotten tickets for the whole family to go. Nobody else wanted to make the trip to Salem. So, after a few phone calls, plans were made to hit the road the next night. The Simmons Family was going with us.

Hey look! Clowns! Making balloon animals ... trying to anyways. They satisfied the kids, but man were they ugly! lol

See what I mean!

The kids watched the tigers until the Circus began.

God Bless the USA!

ROAR!
This act was pretty neat. They went all the way around the tightrope.

The Hoola Hoop Goddess!
She was like a human Slinky! lol
And last but not least ... the elephants!

Here is Rylin with his poor deflated white sword. I think he had more fun with his "shriveled up little worm" than he did with a brand new sword made by an ugly clown. lol

SPECIAL THANK YOU!
A special "Thank You!" goes out to my parents from me, Addisen and Rylin. Thank you for giving us the tickets so the kids could enjoy the circus. A special "Thank You" also from Jimmy, Jennifer, Hailey, Lainie, Jacob and Jonah, too. Jacob and Jonah had never been to a circus before and LOVED every minute of it.
THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU
