Rylin Turns SIX

Six years ago today ... at 12:29pm ... my first son was born.

Welcome to the world Rylin Chase.

This was taken at my parent's house. Father's Day 2003.

Rylin was about 2 weeks old. Addisen was 22 months.

(BTW ... Lee said I forgot to mention that this photo op was his idea. Sarah had picked the flowers out of ditches and had two potted flowers in this basket for my dad.)

This is Rylin coming after the camera. The smile was soon gone when I wouldn't let him have it.

First and only set of stitches so far. The bruise is from me hitting him in the head with a tractor from Gpa Kocher. Ooops! The two stitches are from him falling in the exam room in the doctor's office for his two year well baby checkup. His second birthday was really rough on him!

When you have a train fanatic ... you must have a train track. Rylin would play here for HOURS. He still does. The boy LOVES trains.

It is so hard to imagine that six years have passed already. Rylin has the brightest spirit and his daddy's patience. Lord knows he needs it with an older sister and a younger brother. Since he could speak he has insisted that he wants to be an engineer when he grows up. If you know Rylin, you know that his mind is consumed by trains and anything to do with them! I hope all of his dreams come true ... no mater if it is trains or something else. Lee and I will back him 100% to make his dreams become a reality.

That's just what parents do.
